Password not being accepted? Here's what to check.

    Common Causes

    1. Caps Lock Is On

    Passwords are case-sensitive:

    • Check if Caps Lock is on
    • Toggle it off
    • Try again

    2. Typing Errors

    Easy to make mistakes:

    • Type slowly and carefully
    • Check for extra spaces
    • Verify you're using the right password

    3. Wrong Password for the Account

    You might be using:

    • An old password
    • A password for a different account
    • A personal password instead of work password

    4. Password Has Changed

    • Someone (IT or you) may have changed it
    • Password may have expired
    • Check if you received a password reset notification

    5. Account Issues

    • Account might be locked
    • Account might be disabled
    • Too many failed attempts
