Local Gold Coast IT Support — Managed IT Done Properly
Netluma IT provides managed IT services to small and medium businesses across the Gold Coast. We are a Gold Coast based managed IT provider — not a call centre in another state or another country. Our team lives and works on the Gold Coast and the Tweed, which means when something needs hands on a server in Bundall or a printer in Robina, we are there the same business day.
Our Gold Coast managed IT service covers everything a modern Australian SMB needs to run reliably and securely: 24/7 monitoring of every device, server and network, proactive patching and maintenance, unlimited Australian based remote helpdesk support, modern endpoint protection and threat detection, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration, secure backups, identity and MFA enforcement, and a quarterly business technology review with a senior engineer. One fixed monthly fee per user, no hidden costs, no surprise invoices, no per-call charges.
For Gold Coast businesses comparing managed IT providers, the most important questions are simple. Who picks up the phone when your team needs help? How fast does the first response actually arrive? Is somebody monitoring your backups, your patches, your security alerts every single day — or is it set and forget? When did somebody last sit down and walk through your IT roadmap with you in plain English? Our managed IT Gold Coast service is built around answering all of those questions the same way every time: a real Australian based engineer, fast first response, daily checks on the things that matter, and quarterly strategic reviews with a person who knows your business.
What Is Managed IT, in Plain English?
Managed IT is a proactive approach to technology support for Gold Coast businesses. Instead of waiting for things to break and paying per incident (the model usually called break-fix), we monitor your systems continuously, patch them on a regular cadence, and fix potential problems before they affect your team.
Think of managed IT as your outsourced IT department, without the cost of full-time staff. We handle everything from day-to-day helpdesk questions to long-term technology planning, from new starter onboarding to cyber security uplift, from Microsoft 365 licensing to backup monitoring. Your Gold Coast team gets help when they need it, your systems stay secure and up-to-date, and you get predictable monthly IT costs you can budget for.
For most Gold Coast SMBs in the 3 to 80 staff range, managed IT works out cheaper than the alternative — and dramatically less stressful. The alternative is usually a mix of break-fix invoices that show up at the worst possible time, an in-house contractor who is one person without backup if they are sick or on leave, and a slow accumulation of unpatched devices, expired warranties and forgotten security gaps that eventually catch up with the business in the form of an outage, a ransomware incident, or a failed cyber insurance claim.
Managed IT vs Break-Fix on the Gold Coast
Break-Fix IT Support
- Pay per incident — costs spike at the worst possible time
- Reactive — issues only get fixed after they disrupt your business
- No ongoing monitoring — small problems go unnoticed until they escalate into outages
- Longer downtime — waiting for an available technician, then waiting for them to learn your environment
- Unpredictable IT expenses month to month, with quarterly nasty surprises
- Patching, backups and security are nobody's job
- Documentation usually lives in one person's head
Managed IT Services for Gold Coast Businesses
- Fixed monthly fee per user — predictable IT costs you can budget for
- Proactive — most issues prevented before they impact your team
- 24/7 monitoring — we catch problems early, usually before you notice
- Faster resolution — we already know your environment, your users and your line-of-business apps
- Strategic planning — quarterly reviews and an annual technology roadmap
- Patching, backups and security uplift run on a defined cadence
- Documentation lives in a secure, encrypted system that is yours, not ours
Everything Included in Your Managed IT Gold Coast Plan
Australian based helpdesk
Every Gold Coast support request goes to a real Australian based engineer who knows your business — not an offshore call centre, not a chatbot, not a generic Tier 1 reading from a script. Phone, email and portal-based tickets are typically answered within minutes during business hours, and most issues are resolved on the first call. Our team understands Australian business hours, Queensland public holidays, and how a small Gold Coast business actually runs.
24/7 monitoring of every device, server and network
We deploy enterprise-grade monitoring agents to every endpoint, server, switch and access point in your environment. Drives filling up, services stopping, processes failing, antivirus disabling, backups missing, suspicious logins from unusual locations, certificates expiring — we see all of it, in real time. Most of it is fixed automatically or by our team before you ever notice anything was wrong.
Proactive patching and maintenance
Operating system updates (Windows, macOS), browser updates, third-party application patching (Adobe Acrobat, Java runtimes, Zoom, common business apps), firmware updates and driver updates are all scheduled, tested and rolled out on a regular cadence. We do not let your devices fall behind on security patches — that is one of the most common ways cyber incidents start in Australian SMBs.
Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration
We administer your tenant end-to-end: licensing optimisation, identity and conditional access, SharePoint and OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Intune device enrolment, security baselines and Microsoft Defender configuration. The same applies if you run on Google Workspace — admin console, Drive, Vault, identity, mobile management and endpoint policies. We make sure you are paying for the licences you actually need and nothing more.
User onboarding and offboarding
A new starter on your Gold Coast team gets a properly configured device, the right Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace licence, the right security groups, the right software, the right shared mailbox access and the right line-of-business app permissions on day one. When someone leaves, we revoke access cleanly, archive their mailbox per your retention policy, reclaim the licence, and rotate any shared credentials they had access to. No ex-employees still logging in three months after they left.
Cyber security baseline
Every managed IT plan includes a baseline of cyber hygiene — MFA enforcement on every account, modern antivirus, conditional access policies, and removal of unused accounts and stale licences. Deeper protection (24/7 managed EDR with Huntress, security awareness training, dark web monitoring, Essential Eight uplift) is available on the optional Cyber Security + Data Redundancy module described below.
Backup monitoring and verification
We monitor your backups daily and verify they actually restore. The single most common backup failure mode in Australian SMBs is "we thought it was running" — we make sure that is never the story your Gold Coast business has to tell. Our optional Cyber Security + Data Redundancy module takes this further with off-site replication to Australian data centres, immutable ransomware-resistant copies, and monthly restore testing of critical servers.
Quarterly business technology reviews
Every quarter, we sit down with you — in person on the Gold Coast or via video call — and walk through how IT is supporting your business. What is working, what is not, what is coming up, what to budget for next quarter, what risks need addressing, what opportunities exist to simplify. We bring observations and recommendations, not just tickets and invoices.
Hardware procurement and lifecycle management
We help you buy the right laptops, desktops, monitors, switches, access points, NAS units and peripherals — at competitive prices, configured before they arrive on your desk. We track warranty status and end-of-life dates so you are never caught out by a critical device dying mid-year, and we plan refreshes around your cash flow rather than around vendor end-of-support deadlines.
Vendor liaison and coordination
When something is wrong with your internet provider, your phones, your line-of-business software, your printer, your alarm system, your backup vendor, your software-as-a-service tool or any other vendor — we liaise with them on your behalf. You stop sitting on hold to providers who do not know your environment.
Documentation
Your environment is fully documented in a secure, encrypted documentation platform — devices, users, licences, vendors, network diagrams, recovery procedures, passwords. If we ever part ways, that documentation belongs to you and travels with you to your next provider. No lock-in.
Strategic planning and vCIO advisory (Premium plan)
On Managed IT Premium, we act as your fractional CIO — annual technology roadmap, budget planning, security maturity scoring, vendor consolidation reviews, board-level reporting. You get the discipline of an enterprise IT function, sized for a Gold Coast business of 10 to 80 people.
Why Gold Coast Businesses Choose Netluma IT for Managed IT

Fast Response Times
You can actually reach us. When you need managed IT Gold Coast businesses can rely on, we respond quickly — not next week. 96% of issues are resolved within the first business hour, and our SLA commitment is a callback within one business hour even at our busiest times.
Modern Security Stack
Huntress 24/7 managed threat detection, modern EDR, Microsoft 365 backup, MFA enforcement, conditional access, dark web monitoring, security awareness training. Real protection that actually catches threats before they become breaches — not just an antivirus icon in your system tray.
Proactive, Not Reactive
Regular patching, scheduled maintenance windows, weekly checks on backups, monthly checks on security posture. We fix issues before they become problems, instead of set-and-forget until something breaks at 4pm on a Friday.
Real Communication
We speak plain English, keep you informed, and explain what we are doing and why. No tech jargon, no ghosting between quarterly reviews, no runaround when things go wrong. If we make a mistake, we own it.
Apple and Microsoft Expertise
Full support for iPad, iPhone and Mac alongside your Windows fleet. Many Gold Coast creative agencies, allied health practices and design-led businesses run mixed environments — your whole team is covered, whatever devices they use, with proper Intune or Jamf-style device management.
Managed IT Across the Gold Coast — Suburbs We Know Well
Northern Gold Coast — Coomera, Pimpama, Upper Coomera, Ormeau and Yatala
The northern Gold Coast and southern Logan corridor is one of the fastest-growing business areas in South East Queensland. We provide managed IT for businesses in Coomera, Pimpama, Upper Coomera, Ormeau, Yatala, Stapylton and the M1 industrial corridor — particularly trades and construction firms operating from light-industrial estates, allied health clinics in newer medical precincts, family-owned professional services firms whose teams live locally, and growing logistics and distribution operators using the M1 spine. Whether your office is in a Coomera medical precinct, a Pimpama professional suite or a Yatala warehouse, our Gold Coast managed IT team keeps your network, devices, Microsoft 365 tenant and security stack running so your team can focus on customers, not IT.
Central Gold Coast — Helensvale, Hope Island, Sanctuary Cove, Oxenford and Pacific Pines
Helensvale, Hope Island, Oxenford, Sanctuary Cove and Pacific Pines are home to a strong professional services and lifestyle business community. Many of our managed IT clients in this area run boutique accounting firms, financial planning practices, mortgage broking offices, legal practices, NDIS support coordination businesses, and allied health clinics. We support hybrid teams who split their week between home and office, ensuring secure remote access, properly licensed Microsoft 365 with conditional access, robust backups, and well-managed device fleets so client files and trust account data are never at risk.
Gold Coast CBD — Southport, Bundall, Surfers Paradise, Main Beach and Broadbeach
The Gold Coast CBD corridor — Southport, Bundall, Surfers Paradise, Main Beach and Broadbeach — is the city's professional and corporate heart. Law firms, accounting practices, marketing and creative agencies, property and hospitality groups, real estate agencies, allied health specialists, and Queensland Government adjacent businesses make up the bulk of our central Gold Coast managed IT clients. Our team responds on-site quickly across this strip — usually the same business day — for everything from a stuck multifunction printer to a full office network rebuild, an office relocation, or an after-hours hardware emergency.
Robina, Varsity Lakes, Mermaid Waters, Burleigh and Palm Beach
Robina, Varsity Lakes and the surrounding suburbs make up another major Gold Coast business hub anchored by the Robina Town Centre, Robina Hospital precinct and Bond University. We support healthcare clinics and allied health practices around Robina Hospital, education-aligned and student-services businesses near Bond, retail and ecommerce operations across Mermaid Waters, and a strong creative, digital agency and tech startup cluster around Burleigh Heads and Palm Beach. Burleigh in particular has seen huge growth in tech-forward small businesses — our managed IT plans suit lean teams who want enterprise-grade IT and security without enterprise overhead.
Southern Gold Coast — Currumbin, Tugun, Coolangatta, Bilinga and Kirra
The southern Gold Coast — Currumbin, Tugun, Coolangatta, Bilinga and Kirra — is home to a thriving hospitality, surf-industry, tourism and small-to-medium professional services scene, plus the Gold Coast Airport business precinct. We provide managed IT to cafes, surf brands, property managers, accounting practices and trades businesses across this strip. Being local on the Gold Coast means we are often on-site within hours, not days, when something critical breaks at a busy southern Gold Coast venue.
Gold Coast Hinterland — Tamborine Mountain, Beechmont, Canungra, Mudgeeraba and Nerang
The hinterland and western Gold Coast — Tamborine Mountain, Beechmont, Canungra, Mudgeeraba, Nerang, Carrara and Worongary — is rich with tourism operators, wineries, retreats, equine businesses, allied health practices and trades-based service businesses. Our remote-first managed IT model is ideal for hinterland businesses who do not always have someone who can drive to a CBD office for support, but still need reliable Microsoft 365, secure backups, proactive monitoring and rapid response when something breaks.
Tweed and Northern NSW — Tweed Heads, Kingscliff, Casuarina, Pottsville, Cabarita and Byron
Our Gold Coast managed IT footprint extends naturally over the border into Northern NSW. We support businesses in Tweed Heads, Tweed Heads South, Banora Point, Terranora, Kingscliff, Casuarina, Pottsville, Cabarita, Bogangar and across to Byron Bay. Many cross-border businesses operate offices in both Coolangatta and Tweed, and the practical reality of doing business in this region means treating the border as a line on a map, not a service boundary. Healthcare clinics, NDIS providers, hospitality operators and small professional services firms throughout Northern NSW are a core part of our Gold Coast and Tweed managed IT client base.
Logan Corridor — Beenleigh, Crestmead and the southern Brisbane gateway
For Gold Coast businesses with a second site or a parent company up the M1 toward Brisbane, we cover Beenleigh, Crestmead, Loganholme and the southern Logan corridor as part of the same managed IT engagement — single helpdesk, single quarterly review, single invoice.
Most managed IT support is delivered remotely so your location within our Gold Coast and Northern NSW service area does not affect response times. When on-site visits are needed for installs, hardware swaps, network rework or office moves, we schedule them efficiently — and on the Gold Coast and Tweed, that usually means the same business day.
Managed IT for Gold Coast Industries We Know Inside-Out
Healthcare and Allied Health — physiotherapy, psychology, dental, GP, NDIS
The Gold Coast has one of the highest concentrations of allied health providers per capita in Australia, particularly across Robina, Burleigh, Southport and the northern growth corridor. We provide managed IT for physiotherapy clinics, psychology practices, dental surgeries, general practices, podiatry, occupational therapy, speech pathology, exercise physiology, dietetics and NDIS support coordinators. Our setup keeps practice management software (Cliniko, Coreplus, Halaxy, Best Practice, Medical Director, Genie, D4W, Praktika) running smoothly with secure encrypted backups, MFA-protected logins, Australian-hosted file storage and proper access control. We understand the realities of running an allied health business on the Gold Coast — multi-practitioner rooms, contractor and locum logins, telehealth, NDIS-compliant record retention, and the practical implications of the Privacy Act, the Australian Privacy Principles and the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Trades, Construction and Field-Based Businesses
Electricians, plumbers, builders, civil contractors, landscapers, HVAC technicians, roofers, painters and service trades make up a major part of our Gold Coast managed IT client base. Trades businesses do not sit at desks — your team works from utes, sites and vans, and your IT needs to follow them there. We set up secure mobile device management, properly licensed Microsoft 365 with Outlook, Teams and SharePoint running on every phone and tablet, cloud-based job management software (Tradify, simPRO, ServiceM8, Aroflo, AssignAR, Fergus), and rugged backups of your accounting and quoting data. When something goes wrong on a Friday afternoon before quoting deadlines, we are reachable — not closed for the weekend.
Hospitality, Cafes, Restaurants and Tourism
Hospitality is at the heart of the Gold Coast economy. We support cafes, restaurants, breweries, function venues, accommodation operators, surf schools and tour operators with managed IT covering POS networks, secure guest WiFi, back-office Microsoft 365, surveillance system continuity, and PCI-compliant payment infrastructure. Hospitality runs seven days a week — our after-hours support keeps your venue trading even when an internet outage hits at peak service on a Saturday night.
Professional Services — Accounting, Legal, Financial Planning, Architecture and Engineering
Accountants, bookkeepers, financial planners, mortgage brokers, lawyers, conveyancers, architects, engineers and consulting firms across the Gold Coast rely on our managed IT. We administer Xero, MYOB, Class Super, FYI Docs, Greentree, LEAP, Smokeball, Affinity, Practice Evolve, ARM Pro and other industry-specific platforms — including identity, MFA, document management, and integration with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. We understand the obligations placed on advisors by ASIC, the Australian Financial Services Licensing regime, the Tax Practitioners Board, the Legal Profession Act, and the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme — and we structure your IT environment so meeting those obligations is the default state, not a compliance project.
Retail, Ecommerce and Distribution
Bricks-and-mortar retailers, online stores, wholesalers and distributors across the Gold Coast use our managed IT to run POS, ecommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce), inventory and order management systems, supplier integrations and customer support tooling. Whether you are a single retail location at Pacific Fair or a multi-channel operation shipping nationwide from a Yatala warehouse, we keep your stack online and your data backed up.
Real Estate and Property Management
Real estate agencies, property managers and strata managers across the Gold Coast trust us to manage the IT behind their PropertyMe, Property Tree, REI Master, Console, MRI Box+Dice and Inspection Manager workflows. We administer Microsoft 365 with role-based access for sales agents, property managers and trust accountants, and ensure your trust account data and inspection photo archives are backed up and protected to the standard your trust account auditor expects.
NDIS Providers and Disability Support
NDIS providers — support coordinators, plan managers, supported independent living operators, allied health teams and SDA providers — face unique IT and compliance challenges. We help Gold Coast NDIS providers structure their IT environments to meet NDIS Practice Standards and the Quality and Safeguards Commission's expectations around participant record protection, incident reporting, secure record-keeping and information security. Our managed IT for NDIS providers includes appropriately scoped Microsoft 365 licensing, MFA on every account, encrypted backups of participant records, and an Essential Eight aligned baseline.
Education, Tutoring, RTOs and Student Services
We support training organisations, RTOs, tutoring businesses, swim schools, dance studios and similar education businesses across the Gold Coast. Microsoft 365 Education and Google Workspace for Education licensing, secure parent and student portals, payment integration, and child-safe IT policies are all part of what we deliver.
Light Industrial, Manufacturing and Logistics
Around the Yatala, Stapylton, Molendinar, Burleigh and Currumbin industrial estates, we support light manufacturers, logistics operators, food processors, automotive specialists and engineering shops with managed IT covering ERP integrations, warehouse network design, ruggedised endpoints, and cybersecurity uplift to meet supplier and customer requirements.
Cyber Security for Gold Coast Businesses
Modern endpoint detection and response (managed EDR)
Traditional antivirus is no longer enough for a Gold Coast business of any size. Our security stack is led by Huntress' 24/7 human-led threat hunting team — suspicious behaviour on a laptop in Bundall is detected, isolated and investigated by analysts in real time, even if it happens at 2am on a Saturday. We treat managed EDR as the modern minimum viable cyber security control, not an upsell.
MFA enforcement
Multi-factor authentication is the single highest-leverage control you can implement to stop business email compromise, the most common cyber incident affecting Australian SMBs. We enforce MFA on every user, every account, with conditional policies that recognise trusted devices and locations and challenge anything unusual.
Security awareness training
The biggest cybersecurity vulnerability in any Gold Coast business is people — not technology. Our optional Cyber Security + Data Redundancy module includes ongoing security awareness training and simulated phishing — short, monthly, manageable for busy teams, with reporting back to leadership on engagement and risk profile.
Dark web and credential monitoring
We monitor public dark web breach databases for any of your business email addresses appearing in compromised datasets. If a credential leaks, you find out immediately and we rotate it before it can be used against your Gold Coast business.
Essential Eight maturity uplift
The Australian Cyber Security Centre's Essential Eight is the de facto security maturity framework for Australian businesses. We assess your current maturity, prioritise the gaps that matter most for a Gold Coast SMB, and lift you to a defensible baseline — without enterprise-level cost or complexity.
NDIS, allied health and regulated industries
For Gold Coast NDIS providers, allied health practices, financial services firms and legal practices, the bar is higher. We help you implement the controls that satisfy the NDIS Practice Standards, the Privacy Act, the Australian Privacy Principles, the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, your professional body's expectations, and your insurer's requirements.
Cyber insurance readiness
Cyber insurance applications get harder every year. We help you complete cyber insurance applications honestly, accurately and to your insurer's satisfaction — and we close the underlying technical gaps that would otherwise lead to a claim being declined when you need it most.
Switching Managed IT Providers on the Gold Coast — What Actually Happens
1. Discovery (week 1)
We start with a 15-minute phone call, then a longer scoping conversation — usually on-site at your Gold Coast office. We learn how your business actually works, what your team does day-to-day, what is hurting most right now, and what you have already tried. No sales pitch, no obligation. You walk away with honest advice either way.
2. Proposal and contract
You receive a written proposal with the right plan, scope, optional add-ons and pricing for your business. No surprises, no obligation. If you proceed, we sign a simple service agreement — a 6-month structured onboarding to fix, secure, and standardise your IT properly, then month-to-month with 30 days notice. No exit fees, no rolling annual lock-ins.
3. Onboarding and discovery (week 2)
We deploy our monitoring and management tools, run a full audit of your environment, document everything (devices, users, licences, vendors, network, recovery procedures), reset any insecure passwords, enforce MFA where it is not already enforced, remove stale accounts, and build a remediation plan for anything else that needs fixing. Most of this happens in the background with zero downtime to your team.
4. Take-over from your current provider
If you have a current IT person or provider, we coordinate the handover — admin access, documentation, vendor relationships, ongoing tickets, M365 global admin, Azure tenant ownership, domain registrar access. Your data and your accounts stay yours throughout. We are also happy to work alongside an existing in-house IT person on a co-managed model if that is your preference.
5. Day one of go-live
Your Gold Coast team meets us — usually in person — and learns how to log a ticket, what to expect, response times, and who to call for what. We make it dead simple. There is no learning curve to using a properly run managed IT helpdesk.
6. Ongoing
Tickets resolved fast, monitoring active 24/7, patching automatic, backups verified daily, security baseline maintained, quarterly reviews scheduled. Your IT becomes one less thing you have to think about every week.
How We Compare to Other Managed IT Providers on the Gold Coast
Versus a single-person IT contractor
A single contractor can be brilliant — but they are one person, with no backup if they are sick, on holiday or unwell. They cannot realistically run 24/7 monitoring, after-hours patching windows or human-led threat detection. Our Gold Coast managed IT team has the depth to cover all of those without dropping the ball when one person is unavailable.
Versus an offshore or interstate helpdesk
An offshore or interstate helpdesk can be cheaper per ticket, but the cost shows up elsewhere — in slower response times, language and accent mismatches, unfamiliarity with your line-of-business apps, and an inability to send anyone to your office when something physical breaks. Our Australian based Gold Coast team picks up the phone, knows your environment, and can be on-site the same day.
Versus an enterprise MSP
Large enterprise MSPs are built to support 500+ user clients with corporate procurement processes. Most Gold Coast SMBs are 5 to 80 people and need fast, friendly, plain-English support — not a portal-driven ticketing process and weeks-long change management. We are built for the Gold Coast SMB sweet spot.
Who Managed IT Gold Coast Suits — and Who It Doesn't
Our managed IT plans are built for Gold Coast and Tweed SMBs from around 3 to 80 staff who depend on reliable IT and want predictable monthly costs. The clients who get the most value share a few characteristics: they have grown past the "one IT person handles everything" point, they are tired of break-fix surprise invoices, they have client data or compliance obligations they want handled properly, and they would rather pay a fair fixed monthly fee than haggle over every callout.
Managed IT is probably not the right fit if you are a one-person operation with a single laptop and no team — break-fix or self-service may be cheaper for that case. It is also not the right fit if you want a provider who will hide problems from you instead of telling you the truth about what your environment actually needs.
Frequently Asked Questions About Managed IT Gold Coast
What does managed IT Gold Coast actually include?
Our managed IT Gold Coast service includes 24/7 monitoring of every device, server and network, managed patching and maintenance on a defined cadence, unlimited remote helpdesk support during business hours, a baseline of cyber hygiene (MFA, modern antivirus, conditional access, account hardening), quarterly business technology reviews, end-to-end Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration, user onboarding and offboarding, hardware procurement advice, lifecycle management, vendor liaison and full environment documentation. Deeper protection — 24/7 managed EDR with human analysts, advanced email security, security awareness training, dark web monitoring — and immutable backups with monthly tested restores are bundled into our optional Cyber Security + Data Redundancy module at $68 per user per month, ex GST. Everything is included in one fixed monthly per-user price with no hidden fees and no per-call charges.
How is managed IT different from break-fix support?
Break-fix means you only call when something has already gone wrong, and you pay per incident. Managed IT is proactive — we monitor continuously, prevent problems before they cause disruption, and provide unlimited support for a fixed monthly fee. Most Gold Coast businesses find managed IT works out cheaper than break-fix once you factor in downtime, lost productivity, and the cost of incidents that proactive monitoring would have prevented.
What areas of the Gold Coast and Tweed do you service?
We provide managed IT services across the entire Gold Coast region — from Coomera, Pimpama and the M1 industrial corridor in the north, through Helensvale, Hope Island and the central CBD strip of Southport, Bundall, Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, down to Robina, Burleigh, Currumbin, Coolangatta and the southern Gold Coast. We also cover the Gold Coast Hinterland (Tamborine Mountain, Mudgeeraba, Nerang, Canungra), the Logan corridor (Beenleigh, Ormeau, Yatala), and across the border into Northern NSW including Tweed Heads, Kingscliff, Casuarina, Pottsville, Cabarita and Byron Bay. Most support is delivered remotely, so your location within our service area does not affect response times — and on-site visits across the Gold Coast and Tweed are typically same business day.
How quickly can you respond to IT issues?
For remote support, we typically respond within minutes during business hours and 96% of issues are resolved within the first business hour. We commit to a callback within one business hour even at our busiest times. For urgent on-site support across the Gold Coast and Tweed, we aim to attend the same business day depending on location and issue severity.
What does managed IT cost on the Gold Coast?
Our managed IT plans are priced per user, per month, ex GST — Essential Helpdesk is $130 per user, Managed IT is $195 per user, and Managed IT Premium is $320 per user (which includes Microsoft 365 Business Premium or Google Workspace Business Plus licensing and vCIO advisory). The optional Cyber Security + Data Redundancy module is $68 per user per month, ex GST — one combined add-on covering protection for your people and a tested backup of your data. We do not charge extra for monitoring, helpdesk tickets or remote support — everything in your plan is included.
Do you lock Gold Coast businesses into long contracts?
No. Our managed IT plans start with a 6-month structured onboarding to fix, secure, and standardise your IT properly. After that, it continues month-to-month with 30 days written notice to cancel. No rolling annual lock-ins, no exit fees. We earn your business every month after the initial term.
Can you take over from our current Gold Coast IT provider?
Yes — most of our new managed IT clients are switching from another Gold Coast provider, an interstate provider, or a single-person contractor. We handle the entire transition, including coordination with your existing provider, gathering documentation, taking ownership of admin accounts, and ensuring a smooth handover. Most transitions complete within two to four weeks with zero business downtime. Your data and accounts always remain yours.
What size businesses do you work with?
We specialise in supporting Gold Coast and Tweed businesses with 3 to 80 staff, with capacity to scale to around 500. Businesses in this size range usually have complex enough technology needs to require professional managed IT, but not enough demand to justify a full-time internal IT team.
Do you support Mac and Apple devices?
Yes, we provide full managed IT support for Mac, iPad and iPhone alongside Windows systems. We manage and support both platforms equally — Apple is not an afterthought and there are no extra charges for supporting your designers, marketers or executives who run on Mac.
What industries do you specialise in on the Gold Coast?
We have particular expertise in healthcare and allied health (physiotherapy, psychology, dental, GP, NDIS), trades and field-based businesses (electricians, plumbers, builders, service trades), and professional services (accounting, legal, financial planning). We also support Gold Coast hospitality, retail and ecommerce, real estate and property management, light industrial, education and RTOs, and general SMB across the Gold Coast and Tweed.
Are on-site visits across the Gold Coast included?
No — almost everything across all plans is delivered remotely as part of your monthly fee. When on-site is the right call across the Gold Coast and Tweed — installs, moves, major issues — visits are billed separately at $180 per hour, ex GST, with a 1.5 hour minimum per call-out. We will always let you know up front before sending a technician on-site so there are no surprises on the invoice.
What about cyber security and Essential Eight compliance?
Cyber Security is delivered as part of the Cyber Security + Data Redundancy module — one combined add-on at $68 per user per month, ex GST. The cyber side includes managed EDR with Huntress, email security, MFA enforcement, security awareness training, dark web monitoring, and an Essential Eight maturity uplift. For regulated Gold Coast industries — NDIS, allied health, legal, accounting, financial services — we strongly recommend adding it. We will scope the right level for your business during your discovery call.
What about backups and disaster recovery?
Data Redundancy is delivered as part of the same Cyber Security + Data Redundancy module ($68 per user per month, ex GST). The data side covers Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace backup, server and workstation image backup, off-site replication to Australian data centres, immutable ransomware-resistant copies, and monthly restore testing of critical servers — so when something goes wrong, you actually get your data back. We keep it optional because every Gold Coast business has different data risk and retention needs.
Will you replace our current internal IT person?
Not always. Some Gold Coast clients want us to fully take over IT. Others have an internal person and want us as their senior partner — we cover after-hours, projects, escalations and strategy while their internal person handles day-to-day. Both models work and we are happy to discuss which one suits your business best.
How do you handle after-hours emergencies?
Critical incidents — site-down outages, suspected ransomware, suspected business email compromise — are handled out of hours. Routine tickets are handled during business hours. Our Cyber Security + Data Redundancy module includes 24/7 managed EDR with Huntress' threat hunting team responding to security alerts overnight regardless of your support plan.
What happens when our team needs help?
They contact our helpdesk directly — by phone, email or our portal. They speak to an Australian based engineer, usually within minutes. No tickets sitting in a black hole, no being passed around offshore, no scripted responses.
