How to Find Your Microsoft 365 Apps

Accessing Microsoft 365 Apps
Your Microsoft 365 subscription includes many apps. Here's how to find them.
The App Launcher
Online (Easiest Way)
- Go to office.com
- Sign in with your work email
- Click the app launcher (9 dots, top left)
- See all your available apps
Common Apps You'll Find
- Outlook - Email and calendar
- Word - Documents
- Excel - Spreadsheets
- PowerPoint - Presentations
- OneDrive - File storage
- Teams - Chat and meetings
- SharePoint - Team sites
- OneNote - Notes
- To Do - Tasks
- Forms - Surveys
- Planner - Project management
Desktop Apps
Finding Installed Apps (Windows)
- Click the Start button
- Scroll through apps or search
- Look for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
If Not Installed
You may need to install Microsoft 365:
- Go to office.com
- Sign in
- Click Install apps (top right)
- Click Microsoft 365 apps
- Run the downloaded installer
Mobile Apps
Download from the App Store or Google Play:
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- OneDrive
Finding Specific Apps
Outlook (Email)
Web: outlook.office.com Desktop: Search "Outlook" in Start menu Mobile: Microsoft Outlook app
Teams
Web: teams.microsoft.com Desktop: Search "Teams" in Start menu Mobile: Microsoft Teams app
OneDrive (Files)
Web: onedrive.com Desktop: Look for OneDrive in File Explorer sidebar Mobile: OneDrive app
Pinning Favourite Apps
On Your Computer
- Find the app in Start menu
- Right-click
- Click Pin to taskbar or Pin to Start
In Your Browser
- Open the app at office.com
- Bookmark the page
- Or pin the tab
App Launcher Tips
- The app launcher shows your most-used apps first
- Click All apps to see everything
- Apps you use often appear at the top
